Artist, sculptor, jewellery maker and contemporary furniture designer Harry Bertoia designed the original Bertoia diamond chair in 1952. His experiment with bending metal rods into practical art produced a revered, modern furniture collection of seating, including the exquisite Bertoia Diamond chair.

This custom wire diamond Bertoia Diamond chair is inspired by Harry Bertoia's designs. It's gridded form allows for a level of transparency whereby the user or viewer literally sees through the chair.

In Bertoia's own words, "If you look at these chairs they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them."
