Herbert Hicher lounge chair - Cow hide The work of true geniuses is rarely appreciated during one's lifetime. It was that way for Vincent Van Gogh, who only sold one painting during his life. Though Herbert Hirche had a very distinguished career as a student of Mies van der Rohe, this particular chair never moved past the prototype stage. It wasn't until his 90th birthday in 2000 that the Hirche Lounge Chair found its way to market. Our design is a faithful reproduction of the original, complete with its innovative sweeping lines and matching ottoman. Construction : Italian leather with stainless steel frame Size : chair L 63cm x H 94cm x W 72.5cm, ottoman 62cm x 62cm
